P-3S visa applicants can be authorized to work in the US in support of a principal P-3 artist or  group.

Who Qualifies for a P-3 Visa?

To be eligible for a P-3 visa, artists and entertainers, individually or as part of a group, must demonstrate that their performances are culturally unique and will further the understanding or development of their art form. This visa is ideal for those involved in culturally significant events, such as concerts, theater productions, and dance performances that are traditional, ethnic, folkloric, cultural, and/or specific to a certain geographic region.

Key Eligibility Criteria Include:

  • History and Authenticity of Cultural Uniqueness: The artist or group must be established as an expert in a specific cultural tradition, demonstrated by reviews, articles, or testimonials from recognized cultural experts or organizations.
  • Content of US Performances: Proof that the upcoming US performances will enhance the understanding of a cultural, traditional, or folkloric art form among US audiences

P-3S Visa: Essential Support Personnel

The P-3S visa is designed for essential support personnel who are integral to the performance of P-3 visa holders. These individuals must demonstrate that they perform critical support functions that cannot be readily performed by a US worker. This visa is essential for roles such as directors, choreographers, technicians, and other staff members who support the cultural performance.

Our Role

Fanfare Projects collaborates closely with cultural event organizers, educational institutions, and performers themselves to ensure a smooth visa petition process. If you already have legal representation or another visa petition preparer, we can still support your cultural event by acting as your visa petitioner. We understand the importance of these culturally unique contributions and strive to facilitate your successful entrance into the US market.
